This is the Colt Government Tribute, a replica of the iconic Colt M1911A1 made under license from Colt by Walther. In fact, it is the only fully-licensed replica of the M1911A1. Unlike the original, however, this extremely-faithful reproduction is chambered in 22 long rifle. The American series from Ruger consists of bolt-action rifles chambered from 22LR rimfire up to large centerfire rifles such as the 30-06 SPG, and were designed to be an innovative yet affordable rifle platform with models suitable for all North American game. This particular example, chambered in 22LR, features interchangeable stock modules that provide comb height options for both scope or iron sight use. The lightweight black composite stock has sling swivel studs and a 13.75" length of pull. The Marksman adjustable trigger offers a user adjustable pull weight, between 3 and 5 pounds.
