The slide is precision machined to provide a mounting system for popular optic sights. With multiple adapter plates, you can quickly and easily mount miniature red dot sights to the rear of the Gen5 GLOCK slide, which has front serrations for easier and quicker manipulations. This is the Ruger EC9S, a "New & Improved" version of the highly-successful LC9S pistol. The EC9S is a striker-fired semi-auto designed for the concealed carry market. It uses the same magazines as the LC9S, with the biggest obvious difference between the two beings the fact that the sights on the EC9S are machined directly into the slide.
