The KS7 is designed for many applications, but it lends itself perfectly
to home defense, back country hiking or anywhere you need a compact
12ga shotgun. Its intuitive, simple features, optional Picatinny-style
rail and M-LOK accessory mounting solutions make it very versatile.
Capacity
The
KS7 might be short and slim on the outside, but it’s long under the
hood. Its 18.5″ magazine tube holds 6+1 or 7+1 depending on your choice
of shell size. The 18.5″ barrel gives you plenty of 12ga velocity to
maximize the performance of your preferred loads.
Carry Handle
At
1st glance, you’ll notice the KS7s throwback feature, the carry handle.
Sometimes old ideas are reinvented to serve modern demands and that’s
definitely the case here. The KS7 carry handle also doubles as a
sighting solution and it comes standard. It shoulders nicely and the
fiber optic bead sight immediately catches the eye. It’s not your
grandpa’s shotgun, unless you buy it for him.
Bullpup Design
You
get extra capacity and standard velocity in a shotgun that’s just over
two feet long. How do we do it? We bullpup it. We kept the business end
right where it’s supposed to be, but we took the party out back. With
rear loading and downward ejection, we’re able to keep the KS7 a 12ga
micro-beast that’s easy to handle.

The KSG is Kel-Tec's first entry into the shotgun market. The size, shape and design are similar to the currently available Kel-Tec RFB rifle, but the KSG ejects downward, instead of forward. The KSG weighs 6.9lbs and is as compact as legally possible with a 26.1" overall length and an 18.5" cylinder bore barrel. Even with this compact size, the internal dual tube magazines hold an impressive 12 rounds of 12 gage 2-3/4" rounds (6 per tube). The simple and reliable pump action feeds from either the left or right tube. The feed side is manually selected by a lever located behind the trigger guard. The lever can be positioned in the center detent in order to easily clear the chamber without feeding another round from either magazine. A cross bolt style safety blocks the sear, and the pump release lever is located in front of the trigger guard. The pump includes an under Picatinny rail for the mounting of a forward grip, or a light or laser. The included top Picatinny sight rail will accept many types of optics or iron sights. Forward and rear sling loops are built in, and a basic sling is included. The soft rubber butt pad helps to tame recoil. The PLR-16 is a gas operated, semi-automatic pistol chambered in 5.56 mm NATO caliber. It is intended to be the ideal silhouette shooting and hunting pistol. The rifling is 1 turn in 9 inches, right hand twist. The PLR-16 has a conventional, long-stroke gas-piston operation and utilizes the proven Johnson/Stoner breech locking system. The rear sight is adjustable for windage. The front sight is similar to an AR-15 style rifle, and adjustable for elevation.
