The Benelli SBE 3 represents a full redesign of the venerable Super
Black Eagle platform. Nearly 10 years in development, the Super
Black Eagle 3 provides improved ergonomics, flawless functionality,
and an updated intuitive design, giving serious waterfowlers the
ultimate reliability in the most unforgiving conditions. The SBE-3
action cycles not by a traditional gas piston design, but rather by
means of Benellis proprietary Inertia Drive system, which both
reduces felt recoil and keeps smoke and gas in the barrel where it
belongs, and away from internal mechanical components. Also featured
is a Comfortech MAX 5 Realtree stock with an improved grip angle and
larger controls (easier to use when wearing heavy gloves). The gel
comb pad and recoil pad, dramatically improve comfort and recovery
time, making that second or even third shot possible and productive.
