This Cz Urban Grey Suppressor-Ready full size pistol features a threaded barrel, high suppressor sight with tritium lamp and extended capacity magazine. The PCR name stands for Police Czech Republic the group for whom the model was originally designed. Nearly identical in size to the CZ 75 Compact it weighs in at a full 1/4 pound lighter owing to its forged aluminum frame making it more comfortable for everyday carry. Equipped with a decocking lever the PCR is designed to be decocked before holstering. After decocking the trigger safety is much like that of a double action revolver. While there is no need to flip a safety lever off the relatively longer and heavier trigger pull for the first round requires the conscious decision to pull the trigger before firing. CZ's P-01 Omega Convertible allows users to swap from decocker to safety operation in the same manner as the popular P-07/P-09 pistols. It uses a simplified, robust trigger system as the previous Omega. The trigger parts use an interlocking design that allows for easy disassembly and reassembly without the need for tools. It was designed for LE and Military duty, but its compact size and the reduced weight due to its forged alloy frame made it ideal for discrete carry as well. The components of the P-01 are completely interchangeable, with no individual fitting required. Included is a 1913 accessory rail that easily accepts any of the industry-standard lights and lasers to assist low-light use.
