The CZ 512 is an entirely different semi-auto rimfire rifle from CZ. The modular design is easily maintained, requiring only a coin as a tool for field stripping. The action of the 512 is composed of an aluminum alloy upper receiver that secures the barrel and bolt assembly and a fiberglass reinforced polymer lower half that housed the trigger mechanism and detachable magazine. The 512 shares the same magazines and scope rings with the CZ455 making it the perfect companion to your bolt-action rifle. The 512 is equipped with dual guide rods for smooth operation and superior reliability. The barrel is the same accurate hammer forged barrel found on all CZs, topped with adjustable sights. An integral 11mm dovetail allows easy mounting of optics.

The PCR name stands for Police Czech Republic the group for whom the model was originally designed. Nearly identical in size to the CZ 75 Compact it weighs in at a full 1/4 pound lighter owing to its forged aluminum frame making it more comfortable for everyday carry. Equipped with a decocking lever the PCR is designed to be decocked before holstering. After decocking the trigger safety is much like that of a double action revolver. While there is no need to flip a safety lever off the relatively longer and heavier trigger pull for the first round requires the conscious decision to pull the trigger before firing. The CZ 97 B is the big-bore brother to the CZ 75 B. It is operationally identical to the 75 B (SA/DA, firing pin block safety and magazine brake).
