The Ruger American Ranch rifle is a compact, easy handling and highly accurate bolt action rifle. The rifle is sized perfectly for carry and easy access in a pickup truck or other farm vehicle. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, it is also capable of firing .223 Remington and is an excellent choice for predator and varmint control. It features a threaded 16.12″ cold hammer forged barrel with factory installed thread protector, ready for your suppressor or other muzzle device of choice. The Ruger Vaquero combines the original Old West single-action look and feel with new features. Trigger features a short takeup with positive reset. Recoil-reducing barrel cam, low mass slide, low center of gravity and low bore axis. Performance tested for sustained P ammunition use. Genuine Novak® LoMount Carry three-dot sights. Modular wrap-around grip system for adjusting palm swell and trigger reach. Safe, easy takedown with no tools or trigger pull required. Ambidextrous slide stop and magazine release allow actuation with either hand. Safety features include internal, automatic sear block system, integrated trigger safety and no trigger pull required for takedown. Also includes - Two nickel-teflon® plated steel magazines; medium and large grip modules; hard plastic case.
Simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber-to-muzzle cleaning. Pressing a button in the back of the frame allows the barrel-receiver assembly to tilt up and off the grip frame without the use of tools. One-piece, precision CNC-machined grip frame. Cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity. Ergonomic bolt stop. Smoothly contoured wood laminate target grips with wrap around finger grooves for precision shooting. Internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs. Contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears allow for durable and reliable operation round after round. Accurate sighting system features a drilled and tapped receiver for Weaver- or Picatinny-style rail for easy mounting of optics. Ambidextrous manual safety can be converted to left-side only with included washer. Features a conveniently located push-button magazine release on the left side of the frame. Magazine drops free on release for convenient reloading. Magazine disconnect prevents discharge when the magazine has been removed. Also includes: two, 10-round magazines.
