The Ruger Mark IV Rimfire Pistols have the classic look of the Mark III with a simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field stripping. A recessed button in the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and off of the grip frame without the use of tools. The bolt simply slides out of the receiver and the barrel can be properly cleaned from chamber to muzzle. The MKIV includes other significant improvements such as a one-piece grip frame that is precision CNC-machined from a solid piece of aluminum alloy; an ambidextrous manual safety and a redesigned bolt stop for more ergonomic operation. The magazine drops free on release for faster reloads and a redesigned magazine disconnect safety prevents discharge when the magazine has been removed. Internal improvements include changes to the hammer, sear, bolt and firing pin for smoother, more reliable feeding. Specific features vary by model, but the legendary, one-piece barreled receiver and internal cylindrical bolt construction remain the same. The robust design ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs. Includes two 10-round magazines. It features a one-piece, precision CNC-machined grip frame, ergonomic bolt stop, and a contoured ejection port. The sighting system features an adjustable rear sight and a receiver drilled and tapped for Weaver- or Picatinny-style rail (rail not included). The ambidextrous manual safety positively locks the sear in the "SAFE" position when applied, and the safety can be converted to left-side only with included washer. Original Old West Single-Action Look, Size and Feel. Since its introduction in 1993, the Ruger Vaquero® has dominated the cowboy action shooting world and earned its reputation for rugged reliability due to its strength and mechanical superiority. It is often referred to as "the gun that won the New West" because of its widespread popularity among single-action shooters and cowboy action competitors. The Ruger Vaquero combines the original Old West single-action look and feel with new features. The mid-size steel frame and cylinder are scaled-down to the same size as the original 1955 Ruger Blackhawk®, closely resembling the classic single-action revolvers of the late 1800's.
Powerful, Single-Action Performance. Handgun hunters, long-range competitors and fans of the single-action revolver are attracted to the classic design, rugged durability and smooth functioning of the Ruger® New Model Super Blackhawk®. Designed specifically to exploit the full potential of the powerful 44 Magnum cartridge, its advanced design delivers reliable performance for big-game hunters. Packed with all of the features of the New Model Blackhawk, these revolvers boast the power of 44 Magnum chambering, yet accept the lower-recoiling 44 Special. Affordably priced in three distinct models, the New Model Super Blackhawk revolvers provide quality and value in all configurations. Traditional western-style, hand-filling grip has long been acknowledged as one of the most comfortable and natural pointing of any grip style. Patented transfer bar mechanism and loading gate interlock provide an unparalleled measure of security against accidental discharge. Reliable with coil springs throughout for durability. Adjustable rear sight and fixed, replaceable insert ramp front sight. Models chambered in the powerful .44 Magnum, also accept factory .44 Special cartridges, which deliver superb accuracy and milder recoil. Cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy, longevity and easy cleaning. Patented integral mounts, machined directly on the solid-steel barrel rib provide a stable mounting surface for scope rings, eliminating a potential source of looseness and inaccuracy in the field (scope rings included).
