The one-piece, three-lug bolt with 70 throw provides ample scope clearance and utilizes a full diameter bolt body and dual cocking cams for smooth, easy cycling from the shoulder. Its compact, threaded barrel with factory-installed thread protector is cold hammer-forged, resulting in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity. The American Ranch also utilizes a Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger, ergonomic, lightweight synthetic stock with modern forend contouring and grip serrations, factory-installed, one-piece Picatinny scope base, one magazine and sling swivel studs.

The Ruger Mark IV Rimfire Pistols have the classic look of the Mark III with a simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field stripping. The magazine drops free on release for faster reloads and a redesigned magazine disconnect safety prevents discharge when the magazine has been removed. Internal improvements include changes to the hammer, sear, bolt and firing pin for smoother, more reliable feeding.
