This Ruger AR-556 semi-automatic rifle is made from forged aerospace-grade
7075-T6 aluminum. The hard coat anodized, flattop upper receiver includes a
forward assist, dust cover and brass deflector, while the Magpul M-Lok
handguards are made from heat-resistant glass-filled nylon. It also has a
bolt machined from 9310 alloy steel, single-stage trigger, chrome-plated
bolt carrier with a matte black oxide finish on the exterior. The AR-556
also utilizes a heavy contour, cold hammer-forged barrel and ergonomic
pistol grip.

The accurate sighting system features a drilled and tapped receiver for Weaver- or Picatinny-style rail. The Mark IV is a single action and utilizes an ambidextrous manual safety, push-button magazine release located on the left side, and an ergonomic bolt stop. Included is a washer and two magazines. This 22/45 Lite model features an aerospace-grade aluminum, ventilated receiver with a black anodized finish. It also has a threaded 4.4" barrel, black polymer grip frame, checkered 1911-style grip, and a fixed front sight with an adjustable rear.
