Strength, Simplicity and Ruggedness. Ruger® GP100® double-action revolvers are among the most comfortable shooting revolvers. Their rugged, medium-sized frame and grip system permit repeated firings with minimal shooter fatigue. Easy on the hand and budget, all GP100 revolvers boast solid steel sidewalls (no side-plates), and frame widths that are increased with extra steel in critical areas that support the barrel, making them rugged, reliable, and dependable.
Simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber-to-muzzle cleaning. Pressing a button in the back of the frame allows the barrel-receiver assembly to tilt up and off the grip frame without the use of tools. One-piece, precision CNC-machined grip frame. Cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity. Ergonomic bolt stop. Smoothly contoured wood laminate target grips with wrap around finger grooves for precision shooting. Internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs. Contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears allow for durable and reliable operation round after round. Accurate sighting system features a drilled and tapped receiver for Weaver- or Picatinny-style rail for easy mounting of optics. Ambidextrous manual safety can be converted to left-side only with included washer. Features a conveniently located push-button magazine release on the left side of the frame. Magazine drops free on release for convenient reloading. Magazine disconnect prevents discharge when the magazine has been removed. Also includes: two, 10-round magazines.
You Can Never Be Too Prepared. The Ruger SP101® revolver boasts the strength to handle the powerful 357 Magnum cartridge in a controllable, small-framed double-action revolver. Among the most powerful small-frame revolvers on the market, they are engineered for solid performance. Featuring a recoil-reducing grip, the SP101® is comfortable to shoot and perfect for personal defense or field use. Strong and reliable shot after shot, all SP101® revolvers have solid steel sidewalls (no side-plates), making them rugged, reliable, and dependable.

Original Old West Single-Action Look, Size and Feel. Since its introduction in 1993, the Ruger Vaquero® has dominated the cowboy action shooting world and earned its reputation for rugged reliability due to its strength and mechanical superiority. It is often referred to as "the gun that won the New West" because of its widespread popularity among single-action shooters and cowboy action competitors. The Ruger Vaquero combines the original Old West single-action look and feel with new features. The mid-size steel frame and cylinder are scaled-down to the same size as the original 1955 Ruger Blackhawk®, closely resembling the classic single-action revolvers of the late 1800's.
