Molded finger grooves in the front of the pistol's grip also instinctively position an operator's hand for optimal shooting. All controls are completely ambidextrous, slide releases are present on both sides of the frame and magazine release can be easily activated by left or right handed shooters. The compact profile (1.25" wide x 6.25" long x 5.0" tall) combined with the 12 round - (9mm Luger) capacity magazines' contoured grip extension delivers a solid, comfortable hold for small- or large-hand shooters. Operation of the G2C is straightforward, thanks to a striker-fire, double-action trigger system that includes restrike capability. A manual, external safety is located conveniently above the thumb for quick manipulation in stressful conditions. The reversible magazine release is also ergonomically positioned for rapid, one-hand mag drops during tactical mag changes. Integrated into the G2C frame is a Mil-STD 1913 Picatinny rail to accept an accessory light or a laser.
