The SR40c® is the compact version of the recoil reducing, striker-fired SR40® pistol, one of the slimmest and most ergonomic full-sized .40 caliber pistols on the market today. The bolt is machined from 9310 alloy steel and is shot peened and pressure (proof) tested to ensure strength, structural integrity and durability. The twist rate stabilizes bullets from 35 to 77 grains and the 5.56 NATO chamber allows the use of both 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem. ammunition. M4 feed ramps provide improved reliability and the matte black oxide finish reduces glare and provides corrosion resistance. A matte black oxide finish on the exterior of the bolt carrier provides corrosion resistance. A Ruger flash suppressor is provided, and the threaded barrel allows for standard muzzle accessories to be installed. Includes a 30rd Magpul PMAG. The Ruger PC Carbine is a take-down rifle chambered in 9mm. It comes standard with innovative features such as a custom "dead blow" tungsten weight which shortens bolt travel and simultaneously reduces both felt recoil and muzzle rise. It also has interchangeable magazine wells, one which accepts Ruger SR-Series and the new Ruger Security 9 mags, and another which accepts Glock mags. The bolt is machined from heat treated, chrome-moly steel to ensure strength, structural integrity and durability. Takedown is as simple as locking the bolt back, verifying that the rifle is unloaded, pushing a recessed lever, twisting the sub-assemblies and pulling them apart.
