The Ruger Mark IV Rimfire Pistols have the classic look of the Mark III with a simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field stripping. A recessed button in the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and off of the grip frame without the use of tools. The bolt simply slides out of the receiver and the barrel can be properly cleaned from chamber to muzzle. The MKIV includes other significant improvements such as a one-piece grip frame that is precision CNC-machined from a solid piece of aluminum alloy; an ambidextrous manual safety and a redesigned bolt stop for more ergonomic operation. The magazine drops free on release for faster reloads and a redesigned magazine disconnect safety prevents discharge when the magazine has been removed. Internal improvements include changes to the hammer, sear, bolt and firing pin for smoother, more reliable feeding. Specific features vary by model, but the legendary, one-piece barreled receiver and internal cylindrical bolt construction remain the same. The robust design ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs. Includes two 10-round magazines. The bolt-action American rifle is the latest engineering innovationfrom Ruger, America's leading firearms manufacturer. The AmericanRifle features an integral bedding block system, the Ruger MarksmanAdjustable trigger, (adjustable between 3 and 5 pounds), and anergonomic, lightweight stock designed for quick and easy handling. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and scope bases and sling swivelstuds are included. This rifle is chambered in 30-06 SPG, andfeatures a 22-inch 1:10 barrel.
The Ruger AR-556 Pistol features a lower receiver that is fitted with an adjustable pistol stabilizing brace to aid in accuracy, balance and recoil management, the slim 9" handguard is free-floating for accuracy and provides enhanced ergonomics and support. Magpul M-LOK accessory attachment slots along the 3:00, 6:00 and 9:00 positions. Made from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum forging, the flattop upper receiver includes a forward assist, dust cover and brass deflector. The bolt is machined from 9310 alloy steel and is shot peened and pressure (proof) tested to ensure strength, structural integrity and durability. The twist rate stabilizes bullets from 35 to 77 grains and the 5.56 NATO chamber allows the use of both 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem. ammunition. M4 feed ramps provide improved reliability and the matte black oxide finish reduces glare and provides corrosion resistance. A matte black oxide finish on the exterior of the bolt carrier provides corrosion resistance.
