The Ruger PC Carbine is a take-down rifle chambered in 9mm. It comes standard with innovative features such as a custom "dead blow" tungsten weight which shortens bolt travel and simultaneously reduces both felt recoil and muzzle rise. It also has interchangeable magazine wells, one which accepts Ruger SR-Series and the new Ruger Security 9 mags, and another which accepts Glock mags. The bolt is machined from heat treated, chrome-moly steel to ensure strength, structural integrity and durability. Takedown is as simple as locking the bolt back, verifying that the rifle is unloaded, pushing a recessed lever, twisting the sub-assemblies and pulling them apart. The American series from Ruger consists of bolt-action rifles chambered from 22LR rimfire up to large centerfire rifles such as the 30-06 SPG, and were designed to be an innovative yet affordable rifle platform with models suitable for all North American game. This particular example, chambered in 22LR, features interchangeable stock modules that provide comb height options for both scope or iron sight use. The lightweight black composite stock has sling swivel studs and a 13.75" length of pull. The Marksman adjustable trigger offers a user adjustable pull weight, between 3 and 5 pounds. The free-floated hammer-forged barrel has a target-crown, ultra-precise rifling to provide exceptional accuracy, longevity and easy cleaning, and a satin blued finish. It also features a 10/22-style extended magazine release, a fiber optic front sight, an adjustable V slot folding rear sight, and a 3/8" rimfire scope base machined into the receiver, which is also drilled and tapped for Weaver #12 bases (not included).
